Hyaku Tec Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based digital agency building custom software, web, and mobile solutions since 2013. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

This website only collects the details you submit, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run it:

• //Contact form — name, email address, phone number, subject (New Project, Support, or Other Question), and your message. We email this to ourselves; it is not stored in a website database.
• //Newsletter signup — email address if you subscribe in the footer. That address is sent to Mailchimp so we can notify you about new products or updates.
• //Technical data — our host may record IP address, browser type, and pages requested in server logs. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

If you later engage us on a project, you may also send briefs, content, or files by email or other channels so we can deliver the work.

How we use it

We use contact form details to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the project. We use a subscribe email only to send the product or update notifications you asked for. We do not sell personal information. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time using the link in the message, or by contacting us.

Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only where needed to operate this site:

• //Contact messages are emailed to quan@hyaku.com.au.
• //Subscribe emails are processed by Mailchimp (Intuit), which stores data in the United States.
• //Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; Google may receive your IP address and browser details.
• //Our hosting provider stores the website and server logs.

We do not use payment processors or analytics tools on this site. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

This site uses essential session and security cookies so the contact form can be submitted safely. We do not use cookies to track browsing, remember marketing preferences, or run ads. You can disable cookies in your browser; the contact form may not work without them.

Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry or project, or as required by law. Subscribe emails stay on the Mailchimp list until you unsubscribe or we close the list. Server logs are kept for a short operational period, then discarded.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you can complain to us directly, and if unresolved, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
